Sabrena A. Blake, 32, died Saturday, October 28, 2000, at her home in Durant.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 1, at Bentley Funeral Home, Durant. Memorials may be made to the family.

Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, November 2, at the Durant Cemetery, Durant, Iowa. The Rev. Sharon Phillips will officiate. Pallbearers will be Robert Jones, Vandy White, Bradley Honts, Chris Everhart, Bobby Roush, Kirk Kleindolph, Cassidy Blake, and E. J. Blake. Bentley Funeral Home, Durant, is in charge of the arrangements.

Sabrena Angelena Hayes was born April 6, 1968, in Muscatine, the daughter of Barry and Billie (Linder) Hayes. She married Paul Elswood Blake on October 14, 2000, at Wildcat Den State Park, Muscatine.

She is survived by her husband, Paul of Durant; two daughters, Mikiala Upshaw and Casandra Upshaw, both of Durant; two sons, Johnathon Upshaw of Durant, and Zephaniah Gray of Texas; five step-children, Jerry Blake of Cedar Rapids, Paula Blake of Durant, E. J. Blake of Atalissa, and Cassidy Blake and Jennifer Blake, both of Durant; her mother and step-father, Billie and Karry Whitmore of Stockton; her father and step-mother, Barry and Tami Hayes of Davenport; her grandmother, Betty Hayes of Wilton; one brother, Barry Hayes of Wilton; two sisters, Teri Hayes and Alisha Hayes, both of Cabool, MO; three step-sisters, Toni Whitmore of Stockton, and Kelly Brown and Stephanie Thomas, both of Davenport; two step-brothers, David Ross of Florida, and Johnathan Thomas of Davenport; and one step-grandchild, Suzan Blake.
