Betty (Hayes) Bridges was born on February 27, 1866 in DeKalb County, Tennessee, the daughter of James Hayes and Edith (Griffith) Hayes (1840–1926).
She was married on March 7, 1888 in DeKalb County to John W Bridges (1861-1945), the son of William Bennett Bridges (1829–1893) and Amanda (Luckey) Bridges ( –1864).
A resident of 1124 Stainback Avenue in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee, Betty was 75 years old when she died at home of a coronary occlusion on February 18, 1942. Burial was three days later in Spring Hill Cemetery, Madison.
