Justine H. Fellows, 85, of Storrs, wife of Irving Fellows, Sr., died Monday (October 7, 2002) in Storrs. She was born August 21, 1917 in Windham, the daughter of Carroll and Vera (Freeman) Hawkins and had lived in Storrs all her life. She was employed for many years by the Mansfield Public School System. Mrs. Fellows was a member of the Storrs Congregational Church and active in the Women's Fellowship. She was also a member of Garden Gate and an avid Bridge player.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by six children, Judith F. Paskey of Canandaigua, NY, Irving F. Fellows, Jr. of North Troy, VT, Julia F. Cote of Ellington, Raymond F. Fellows of Haddam, Douglas W. Fellows of West Point, NY, Joyce F. Bonelli of Broad Brook; a sister, Miriam Stearns of Storrs; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wed, 1pm at the Storrs Congregational Church with the Rev. Dr. Kenneth Ferguson officiating. Burial will follow in the Storrs Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Storrs Congregational Church, 2 North Eagleville Rd, Storrs, CT. The Potter Funeral Home, Willimantic has charge of arrangements.
