Mrs. Anna Mae "Annie" Corbitt, 75, of Madisonville, KY, died Thursday, June 19, 2008 at 7:40 A.M. at the Regional Medical Center in Madisonville.
Born February 3, 1933 in Webster County, KY to the late Monroe Hawkins and Blanche Crowley Hawkins. She was also preceded in by one sister and four brothers.
Mrs. Corbitt is survived by her husband of 36 years, Louis "Tutor" Corbitt Sr. of Madisonville; one daughter, Carolyn Ann Walker of Graham, KY; five sons, David Corbitt, Thomas Jay Tapp, Louis Wayne Tapp, Steven Dale Parrish and Ricky Eugene Parrish all of Madisonville; 23 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Sunday, June 22, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Grapevine Cemetery in Madisonville.
Pallbearers will be Phillip Hawkins, Bobby Kittinger, Bobby Parish, David Corbitt, Daniel Groves, Marshall Kittinger and Christopher Macht
Visitation will be Saturday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and from 8:00 A.M. until the service time on Sunday at the funeral home.
