J.N. Hawkins Jr, 51, of Route 1 Elkins(Tuttle Community) died July 27 in a Fayetteville Hospital. Born March 30, 1928 at Kingston, he was the son of Jess N. and Gladys Maxwell Hawkins and was a retired farmer and a member of the Methodist Church. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Bonnie Loolar Hawkins of the home; two sons Jim Hawkins and Mike Hawkins of Fayetteville, his parents of Fayetteville; one sister Mrs. Delores Mayes of Fayetteville amd two grandchildren. Services were at 2 p.m. Monday July 30 in Wiggins Memorial United Methodist Church in Fayetteville with the Rev. Charles Watt officiating. Buriel was in Fairview Memorial Gardens under the direction of Moore's Chapel.
