BARNETT, Jeanne Age 68 of Lebanon passed peacefully Friday, March 21, 2008 at her home with her family by her side. Born in Sardinia, Ohio September 15, 1939 the daughter of Walter and Eva (Leonard) Hawk. She was a graduate of Sardinia High School. She retired following a forty year career as auction clerk with the Jim Russell Auction Service in Lebanon. She loved gardening and yard work, loved spending time with her family, grandchildren and friends and enjoyed the auction service. She was a long time school volunteer during her daughter's years in the Lebanon Schools. Jeanne never met a stranger and was loved and admired by all that knew her. Preceded in death by her parents and dear husband Roy Barnett, she is survived by loving and devoted daughter Trudy Helsinger (Craig), dear grandchildren Zachary and Lindsay Helsinger, all of Lebanon, sister Donna Johnson (Bob) of Sardinia and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members and friends. Visitation and funeral service was held Monday, March 24, 2008 all at Stine Kilburn Funeral Home, Lebanon with burial in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Mason. The family expresses sincere gratitude to the staff of the Hospice of Cincinnati for their care and requests memorial contributions to Hospice in Memory of Jeanne.
