HAWES, Bonita Mrs. Bonita D. Hawes, 95, a long time resident of Atlanta, died Monday, July 20, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edmund T. Hawes.

She attended Ouachita College in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. Mrs. Hawes is survived by her son, Bill Hawes of Tucker; daughter, Edna Hawes of Atlanta; five grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Per her wishes, she is being cremated and her ashes taken to New Bedford, MA to be laid to rest with her husband.
