Linda Lou Blint, 67, New Carlisle, Indiana, passed away Friday, July 6, 2012 at 8:07 am in her home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana. Burial will follow in Lambs Chapel Cemetery, Laporte, Indiana Visitation will be from 4pm till 8pm Monday and Tuesday from 10am till the time of service in the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel.
She was born June 8, 1945 in LaPorte, Indiana to Donald E. & Marguerite "Peg" (Long) Haverstock . On September 28, 1963 in Rolling Prairie, Indiana she married Donald G. Blint, Sr., who survives in New Carlisle, Indiana; Also surviving is her father, Donald E. Haverstock of Rolling Prairie, Indiana; 2 Daughters, Debra Weisenberger of New Carlisle, Indiana, Jennifer (Kelly) Jones of LaPorte, Indiana; Son, Donald G. (Chrissy) Blint, Jr. of Rolling Prairie, Indiana; 8 Grandchildren; Sister, Susan (Dan) Hartwick of LaPorte, Indiana; 2 Brothers, Albert W. Haverstock of Chicago, Illinois, Lynn (Diane) Haverstock of Long Beach, Indiana; She was preceded in death by Mother, Marguerite "Peg" Haverstock
Linda was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Rolling Prairie, Indiana where she in charge of the Sunday attendance roster. She was the former 4-H leader of the Wills Center Pals 4-H club and also was co-director of the Hoosier ornaments. She was a member of the South Bend Pioneer Auto Association since 1964. Her favorite hobby was crocheting. She formerly was a substitute teacher for the New Prairie School system and the LaPorte Community Schools.
