Francis Anna Havel, Wiruth, a lifelong resident of Republic and Cloud counties, was born March 28, 1891, in Republic County and died August 21, 1982, at Ridgecrest Community Hospital in Ridgecrest, Calif. She was 91.
She married Ludvick Wiruth.
She spent her lifetime in Republic and Cloud counties, moving last year to California. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary, AARP, Cloud County Historical Society, and the Navy Mothers Club, Inc.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on June 13, 1964.
She is survived by a son, Alvin D. Wiruth of Ridgecrest, Calif.; a sister, Rose Anderson of Omaha, Nebr.; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Thursday, August 26, at 10 a.m., at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home in Concordia, the Rev. Berlyn Faulkner officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Concordia.
