Death of the Oldest German Citizen of Nashville. Gervas Haury, the oldest German citizen of this place, died on Sunday last. He was born at Preissach Baden, Germany, 12th February, 1783, and consequently was eighty-six years and six months of age. His funeral took place yesterday evening, and was largely attend(ed), He was known to our German citizens generally and highly esteemed.

Die Siebe Hier Ruhet Gervas Haury gebin Alt Breisach Baden. AM 12 Feb., 1783, gest 13 Aug., 1869; 86 years was the time of his noble activities; father of 14 children. We bless his memory.
