Stanley B. Haught, 91, of Golden Valley passed away Sunday, Aug. 17, 2014, in Kingman. He was born May 20, 1923, in Waynesburg, Pa., to Arnold and Veta Haught.
He served in the Army Air Force during World War II and was honorably discharged in 1946. Stan retired with 30 years of service with TRW (TapCo) in Euclid, Ohio, in 1981.
After retiring, he took a job managing a trailer park in Las Vegas with his wife Mary Jo. He lost her in 1991. When Sally, his stepdaughter, and her husband, Dillon Cook, moved to Arizona, he lived with them. When his health failed, other arrangements had to be made.
He was preceded by his parents; his sister, Rosalie Lareva; his brother, Clyde; two infant sons, Stacy and Stan Jr.; and grandson, William Hayes.
Survivors are his daughter, Cassandra Haught of Marble Head, Ohio; sister, Alma "Larry" Snyder of Stow, Ohio; brothers, Gordon of Hamlet, N.C., and William (Donna) of Augusta, W.V.; sister, Twilla (Harold) Lareva of Jacksonville, N.C.; five stepchildren, Margaret and Mary Pearl, Sally M., Dorothy Kay, and Robert E., 12 grandchildren, and 26 great grandchildren. Burial will be at Southern Nevada Veteran's Memorial Cemetery.
