Alma Hatton, age 40, of Clinton, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, April 5, 2007, at Fort Sanders Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville. Alma was a member of Moran Baptist Church and a cafeteria monitor at Grand Oaks Elementary. Alma was a loving wife, mother, daughter, and sister. She was preceded in death by a brother, Billy McKamey; her grandparents, Ed and Velma McKamey, and Rudy and Beulah Robbins; and her father-in-law, David Hatton. She is survived by her husband, Johnny Hatton of Clinton; children, Amanda Hatton of Clinton, and Caden Hatton of Clinton; parents, Bill and Darlene McKamey of Clinton; brothers, Terry McKamey and wife, Michelle, of Clinton, and Brian McKamey and wife, Jan, of Clinton; mother-in-law, Brenda Hatton of Clinton; brother-in-law, David Hatton Jr. and wife, Yolanda, of Clinton; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Long and husband, Terry, of Clinton; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family received friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Sunday, April 8, 2007, at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the chapel with the Rev. Gary Smith and the Rev. Joe E. Cagley officiating. The burial will follow at Anderson Memorial Gardens.
Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of all arrangements.
