Mary-Nannette Cox, of Springfield passed away June 10, 2011, in Rockford, IL.

Born December 24, 1916, in Springfield, IL to Lewis D. and Nellie J. (Gunnett) Hatfield. A graduate of Springfield High School and Mac Murray College, Jacksonville, IL. Married F. Leigh Cox on February 20, 1941. Mary-Nannette was a teacher for the New Berlin Community Unit #16 for thirty years. She was a member of the land of Lincoln Retired Teachers Association. She was a Past Matron of the Garrett Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star #556 of Loami.

A memorial service will by held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 25, 2011 at Hope Presbyterian Church, 2211 Wabash Avenue, Springfield, IL 62704. A coffee and visitation will be held afterward. In lieu of flowers please send a gift to the Hope Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund.
