Rev. William A. Hatfield, 82, of Yorktown, a retired minister of the Evangelical United Brethren Church, formerly affiliated with Bourbon circuit churches, died of complications Sunday, Dec. 13, at the home of his son, Joseph Hatfield, at Yorktown.
His wife, Myrtle P. Hatfield, preceded him in death in 1951. During the active years of his life he served churches at Green Center, Monroeville, Donaldson, Twelve Mile and Remington.
Survivors in addition to his son Joseph Hatfield include sister, Mrs. Myrtle Snell; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Interment. Thursday. in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Bourbon.
