A. Lloyd "Rusty" Hatch, 37, died Wednesday (Oct. 15, 1952) at the Converse County Memorial Hospital. He was born November 1, 1914 at Glendive, Montana, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Hatch. He received his schooling in Dawson County, Montana. Her served for a time as a brakeman on the Northern Pacific Railroad. While on duty with the railroad he was involved in an accident in which he suffered a broken back. Leaving the railroad, he took up the trade of watchmaker, but because of a nervous condition resulting from the railroad accident, he changed his profession and went to Casper as an appliance employee. During his long hospitalization and in the years following he developed the plans for the Wyoming sewing machine. In July 1950 he opened Rusty's Radio and Appliance Shop in Douglas. He was united in marriage to Edna Mae Barber of Glenrock on Nov. 12, 1950. To this union one daughter, Lila Mae, was born. He was preceded in death by his mother. Surviving are his wife and daughter; a step-son, Nat; his father, Lloyd W. Hatch of Billings, Montana; and three sisters, Mrs. E. C. Moran and Mrs. Chester Patterson of Stanford, Montana and Mrs. R. C. Halstead of Oakridge, Oregon. (Information was obtained from his obituary by Betty Alberts, FAG member #47293729.)
