BOUNTIFUL--Ranae Hatch Franson, our beloved wife, mother, grandma, daughter, sister and friend, found peace on December 22, 1998, after an extended illness, but a brief battle.
She was born on April 20, 1930 in Bountiful, Utah, the daughter of Clark Hatch and Cleo Parrish Hatch. Married Floyd Maxwell Franson on February 14, 1948 in Oakley, Utah. Solemnized for time and eternity in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on April 20, 1967. She was a devoted wife and homemaker, the world's greatest grandmother who loved to rock her grandbabies and tell them stories. She loved to read and many are warmed at night by her quilts that were stitched with love.
She is survived by her husband, Floyd; children: Bill, Julie, Lois (Brad) Fisher, Brent, Carrie (Sean) Ashwell; her mother, of Logan; sisters: Velma, Gary, Wendy; brother: Clark; six and 1/2 grandchildren who will miss her dearly. Preceded in death by her father, brother, son, Michael, father and mother-in-law and brother-in-law.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, December 28, 1998 at the Woods Cross 3rd Ward Chapel, 1450 South 350 West. Friends may call Sunday evening from 6 - 8 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, and again Monday morning from 11:45 -12:45 p.m. at the church. Interment-Bountiful City Cemetery
