Deceased Name: Atha Ingalls Hatch "Atha Jane"

Atha passed away peacefully March 3, 2006 at the Care Source after her heroic battle with cancer.
She was born December 13, 1924 in Milliken, CO to Ruby Franklin and Lawrence Deffenbaugh. Graduated with a BA in 1945 from the University of Colorado, Atha taught physical education and dancing. Atha married Bob Ingalls in 1948 who preceded her in death. In 1970, she met and married Frank Hatch in Salt Lake City. Joining the PEO Sisterhood in 1946 in Colorado, Chapter O, Atha continued in Utah's Chapter Q and was a founding member of Chapter AI in 1986. Her magic moment came in 1996 when she became a Golden Girl, 50 years of service and love.

Atha's wishes shall be honored with a simple funeral service Wednesday, March 8, 2006, beginning at 2 p.m., Wasatch Lawn, 3401 E. Highland Drive, Salt Lake.
In lieu of gifts and flowers, donations in Atha's name are welcome for either The Residence of Care Source, 1624 E. 4500 S, Salt Lake City, 84417, or PEO's Helen Abbot Emergency Fund for Women c/o Bonnie Wehley, 2359 S 9100 W, Cedar City, UT 84720.
God bless you, Atha, and we love you.
