Letha Hatch Spencer, 99, died on July 16, 2004 in St. George, Utah. She was born December 21, 1904, daughter of Joseph and Margaret Hatch, Argyle, Utah. She married Charles Blaine Spencer December 2, 1927. There marriage was later sealed on November 7, 1930, in the Logan LDS Temple.
Letha moved from Randolph, Utah, to Logan in 1933. She worked at Logan Sportsware, Roskelleys and in 1957 she began working in the Cache County Clerks office until retirement.
She was an active member of of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints. After retirement her greatest joy was working in the Logan Temple. Letha belonged to the B.P.W., Utah Daughters of Utah Pioneers and Lady Lions.
After her husband died in 1994 she moved to St George, Utah, where she lived until her death. Letha was a wonderful person and touched many many people. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew her. Letha was preceeded in death by her husband, two brothers, four sisters, one grandchild and one great grand child.
She is survived by two daughters, Janice (Arlo) Felix, Ashton, Idaho, Margaret (Thane) Larsen, Santa Clara, Utah, eleven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.
Service will be held at Allen-Hall Mortuary, Logan, Utah, on Tuesday July 20 at 1:00 pm. viewing one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Logan City Cemetery.
