Norma Lewis Hatch, age 77, of Salt Lake City, passed away on July 10, 1998.
She was born June 21, 1921, in Spanish Fork to Ralph Lewis and Edna Miller. She married Gordon J. Linnell in 1939, later divorced. She married C. Burnell Hatch in 1966 in Provo. He died in 1985. She was a lifelong member of the LDS Church. She was also a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She was an avid bowler and worked at Regal Lanes. She served in many positions in both Womens and Youth Bowling. She loved her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and everyone she knew.
She is survived by three sons, Michael (Ramona) Linnell of Salt Lake City; Lynn (Virginia) Linnell of Ellensburg, Washington; David Linnell of Salt Lake City; son-in-law, Sherrill Hansen of Highland; two step-sons, Jim Hatch and Phil Hatch; brothers, Jack Lewis of Riverside, CA and Ray L. Lewis of Millcreek, WA; sister, Margaret Butterfield of Riverton; 11 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Hansen and step-daughter, Norita Olsen.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, July 15, 1998 at 11 a.m. at the Berg Mortuary Drawing Room Chapel, 185 East Center Street, Provo. Friends may call Tuesday, July 14, 1998, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Berg Mortuary or Wednesday, July 15, 1998, one hour prior to services also at Berg Mortuary of Provo. Interment, East Lawn Memorial Hills.
