She was born October 3,1932 at Prudy Rural Viroqua to Ivan and Nora(Halvorson) Hastings. On May 30,1951 she married Donald Carson and they were divorce in 1976. She moved to Viroqua and worked as a cook at Dunnum's,Mainstreet and Beckmans Cafes. She also worked at the Caring House as a care giver. She was an avid Chicago Cub fan. Blessed be her memory.
She is survived by four daughter, Charlene, Debra, Jody, Laurie; four sons Donald, Randy, Ricky, Raymond; 17 grandchildren, six great grandchildren; her mother Nora Hastings Viroqua; three sisters Vera, Patsy, Sheila; three brothers;James Hastings, David Hastings, John Halverson.
She was preceded in death by her father Ivan Hastings and two brother Ervin Hasting and Robert Lee Hastings.
Funeral at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Viroqua with Pastor Stephanie Steiner officiating. Burial will be Riverside Cemetery Rural Genoa.
