Grace L. French, 86, of Baytown was born March 29, 1928, in Palestine, TX and passed away Friday, March 27, 2015, at home. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, where she enjoyed doing genealogy research.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. French; daughters, Laurie Kader and Christy Burnes; and one brother and three sisters. She is survived by her children and their spouses, James E. and Paula French of Baytown, Rick W. French of Georgetown, Steve A. and Terry French of Baytown, David L. French of Baytown, Cheryl G. French of Baytown, Danny L. French of Houston, and Sherry S. French of Baytown; sister, Sherry Poole of Post, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Monday, March 30, 2015, beginning at 1:00 p.m. with a funeral to follow at 2:00 p.m. with Austin Dunlap, 2nd Counselor, Baytown Ward, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints officiating. Burial will follow at White Cemetery in Highlands.
Serving as pallbearers will be Rodney Kader, Michael Kader, Danny French, Jr., William Burnes, and Mike Burnes. Jared French will be a honorary pallbearer.
