Lisa Kay Hassell Harrison of Montgomery, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 20th, 2011 at her home in Plantersville, Texas. Born February 5th, 1963, in Palestine, Texas, Lisa was a 1981 graduate of Montgomery High School, and spent most of her 48 years close to Montgomery, where she called home. She was enjoying life in the "country" with husband and best friend, Bobby Baker, of Plantersville, Texas and their family of beloved pets.

Lisa leaves behind adored daughter, Jamie Hassell Schneider and husband Adam Schneider of Montgomery, Texas, treasured son, Jonathan Taylor of Montgomery, Texas, and her most precious granddaughter, Braeley Schneider who will be looking up to heaven for her fun and games. Lisa is also survived by mother, Juanita Hassell, of Montgomery, Texas, father F. Heath Hassell and wife Tammy Hassell, of Crosby, Texas. Also surviving are grandmother, Darie Miller and uncle, John Dennis Miller, of Baytown, Texas. The siblings, who are now minus their "number 2", are: Angela German, Michele Hassell, Beth Newsom, Tara Cumming-Robeau, Jarad Hassell and Nikki Hassell. Lisa loved being an aunt to many children, especially Emma, Hadley, Austin, Gracie, Addlyn, Adam & Reagan.

Lisa had many friends and acquaintances that enjoyed her smile and spontaneous spirit. She loved being with people and making them laugh.

Visitation will be held Sunday, August 28th, from 4-6 PM at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home, 20850 Eva Street, Montgomery, Texas. A graveside memorial will be held Monday, August 29th at 10:00 AM at Bethel Cemetery off of FM 1097 West.
