Arnold Elonzo Haskell was born Thursday, October 14, 1915 in Payson, Utah to Henry Elonzo and Phenriatte Talbot Haskell.

He married Ida Harward on December 28, 1934; they were sealed in Salt Lake Temple on March 29, 1938. They have three children: Wanda Naylor (deceased) Duane, Lynn E (Karen) Haskell, Jean Hammond (Gail deceased); 15 grandchildren; 71 great-grandchildren and 22 great-great-grandchildren.

He was a devoted and active member of the LDS Church, a temple worker and greatly loved by all. He was a farmer, trucker and rancher, being foreman of the Antelope Island Ranching Company.

Arnold passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at his home. He resided at 1877 West 1100 North in Pleasant Grove, Utah at the time of his death.

Funeral Services were held on Monday, March 30, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the Garden Seventh Ward Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 1028 West 1000 North in Pleasant Grove. Calling hours were held on Sunday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Anderson & Sons Mortuary located at 49 East 100 North in American Fork, and on Monday prior to the services at the Church from 9:45 until 10:45 a.m.
Arnold was laid to rest following the conclusion of the Funeral Services at 2:00 p.m. at the Payson City Cemetery in Payson.
