Rita Ann Harvey, better known by those who loved her as Ann, began her journey to our Heavenly Father on April 19, 2016 after a short illness in San Antonio, Texas. Ann was born on September 28, 1938 to Thomas A. and Vera Moran Peterson. After losing her father at a young age, she quickly learned that life was never easy or simple; therefore she met every challenge with grit, determination and perseverance. After graduating high school at 16, Ann went to New Orleans to begin her life. By the time she was twenty, she was married and starting a family, to whom she passed on the lessons she learned in life. She has been a resident of Pleasanton, Texas for 13 years, and attended St. Matthews Catholic Church. Ann was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Vernon Peterson, and her husband Otis Harvey. She is survived by her two daughters, her son; a grandson and three granddaughters, a sister, and many nieces, nephews, and cherished friends. Today the tears rained down here on Earth, but in Heaven, the Angels sang their beautiful song as they welcomed home a child of the king... Our beautiful and beloved mother.
