Mrs. Elmer Benhart, of Itasca took suddenly ill, Friday morning, May 6, and passed away without warning.
Minnie Benhart (nee Hartmann) was born Sep. 4, 1903, at Schaumbut, Illinois; baptized at Rodenburg church, Sept. 27, 1903; confirmed April 22, 1917 by Rev. Seiltz at Robenburg in a class of 12. She was married to Mr. Elmer Benhart, Nov. 14, 1926 at Rodenburg by Rev. Seiltz and has lived in Itasca since her marriage.
Mrs. Benhart was of the age of 28 years, 8 months, and 2 days. She leaves to mourn, her husband, Mr. Elmer Benhart; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hartmann of Schaumburg; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Benhart of Itasca; her grandmother, Mrs. George Benhart; four brothers, two sisters; three sisters-in-law; three brothers-in-law.
Funeral services were Monday, May 9, 1932, at 1:30 p.m. at her home in Itasca, and 2:00 p.m. at the Lutheran church, Rev. Zersen officiating in German and English. The Ladies Aid sang. Funeral arrangements were by Dzur & Karstens.
