Mrs. Carlisle, who had lived in the Lafayette area since 1923, was past president of American War Mothers, Lafayette Chapter 47.
Surviving are a son, Charles A. Carlisle of rural Fort Wayne; three daughters, Mrs. Ethel L. Burnett of Lafayette, Shirley (Mrs. Eldridge) Burton of Templeton and Helen (Mrs. Robert) Johnson of Anderson; 19 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. Two sons preceded in death.
