COMO [Panola Co., MS]—Carnettie A. Hartley, 78, supervisor for William Carter Co. in Senatobia [MS], died of cancer Saturday[February 21] at Baptist Memorial Hospital East in Memphis. Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Harmontown Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher, with burial in the church cemetery near Como. Moore Funeral Home in Sardis [MS] has charge.

Mrs. Hartley, the widow of Windel Hartley, leaves two brothers, Charles Alfred of Grenada [MS] and Elvin T. Alfred of Batesville.
