Pat was predeceased by, and has
joined in heaven, her mother and
father, Florence and Frederick Hart
and her grandson. Michael Kostek.
She was born in Leytonstone,
Essex, England August 6, 1924. She
spent most of her childhood in the
seaside town of Bognor Regis. In
1944, she met and married Theodore
Richard Erno, a Canadian soldier.
They moved to Canada in 1945. Pat
worked for many years as a
hairdresser and a cosmetician.
Pat will always be remembered for
her loving, caring ways. Her strong
faith and positive attitude carried
her through many trying times, with a
smile. The term 'inspirational" was
often used in describing her. Her
family and friends were precious to
her and she was always there to
give a hug. or offer wisdom, or
sometimes Just to listen.
She loved music, whether it playing the
piano, singing or attending concerts.
She also loved dogs.
Her favorite activity was taking her
dog for a walk.
Pat gave a lot of herself to others
and loved to volunteer. She was
active in the Cancer Society (Reach
for Recovery) and a dedicated
member of St. Mary's Anglican
Church. Wherever she went she
spread sunshine and happiness.
It was her request that people
wear bright clothing to her funeral to
celebrate her life.
