Mrs. Hilbert Bellman, forty-five years old, died Friday evening at St. Joseph hospital in Mishawaka, where she had been taken several days before for care and treatment. She had been in ill health for many years. Mrs. Bellman's maiden name was Pearl Mae Hart. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Hart and was born in Topeka, Ind., April 25, 1897. On October 4, 1917, she was united in marriage with Hilbert Bellman, who survives. She is survived also by two children, Robert Bellman and Ruth Bellman, both of Bremen, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hart of Topeka, one sister, Mrs. Viola Asher of Rome City; one brother, Emory Hart of Goshen; and one grandson, Lester Bellman of Bremen.
Funeral services were held at three oclock Monday afternoon at Salem Evangelical church. Rev. Elmer Smith of Wabash, assisted by Rev. C. E. Koertge, pastor of the church, officiated in the service. Burial was in the Bremen cemetery.
