Thurman Orell Hart ("California") was born on July 27, 1948 in Henderson, Texas. He received his education in the Duval County Public School System, graduating from Stanton Vocational High School, Class of 1966. Thurman attended Bethel Baptist Institutional Church and was employed as a Longshoreman. He was preceded in death by his father, Theodis Hart, brothers, Vernon and Donald Hart. Thurman leaves to mourn his passing a loving and devoted wife, Gloria Hart, mother, Veola Hart, children, Tonya Hart (Covington, GA), Victor Hart (Inglewood, CA), Tiffany McKenzie and Kevin Hart, brothers, Michael Hart (Norcross, GA), Girardeau (Charlotte) Best (Warner- Robbins, GA), sister, Gloria Hart, step-children, Tina (Darryl) Sheppard-Taylor and Shani (Chris) Mobley, sister-in-law, E arline Hart, six grandchildren, and one great-grand child, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many sorrowing friends. The funeral service will be held 10:00 AM, SATURDAY, at Bethel Baptist Institutional Church, Pastor Rudolph W. McKissick Sr. and Bishop Designate Rudolph W. McKissick, Jr. officiating. Mr. Hart will rest in the mortuary for visitation of friends, TODAY, from 5 - 8:00 p.m. Interment will be in Edgewood Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to FUNERALS BY T. S.
