Hart, Maxine B., 87, entered the full presence of her Lord last Sunday, after a lifetime of looking through the darkened glass. She and Maynard, her husband of 61 years, are dancing in the joy of their Jesus, never again to know pain, infirmity, or sorrow. For we who are left, the warmth of her persistent love and gratitude in the smallest things mingles bittersweet with the sorrow of parting, but only for a time. Maxine a long time resident of Wichita and a member of Metropolitan Baptist, spent her last few years with family in Roanoke, Va. Preceded in death by her husband and daughter, Martha. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Julie Hart of Wichita; grandson and wife, Michael and Nancy Hart; great-granddaughters, Rachel and Lexi of Roanoke, Va.; sister, Myrna Conrod of Winfield, Kan. Visitation Thursday, 6 to 8 p.m. with family present; funeral service 1 p.m. Friday, both at Hillside Funeral Home east; graveside service 3:30 p.m. at Union Cemetery, Winfield, Kan.
