Mrs. Virginia Dare Harrold Annis, age 90 of Hickory, passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Catawba Hospice.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM , Monday, December 28th , 2015 at Mountlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Pastor Lloyd King, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Mountlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 prior to the service in Mountlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel.
Mrs. Annis was born March 10, 1925 in Wilkes County to Tyre Patterson Harrold and Lillie Florence Porter Harrold. She retired from the Hosiery business. Mrs. Annis was a member of Temple Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister; Ruby Harrold Sebastian, four brothers; Luthern Harrold, Lester Harrold, Theodore Harrold and Talmadge Harrold and a son-in-law; Darrell Price.
Mrs. Annis is survived by one daughter; Sandra Darlene Annis Price of Conover, three sons; William Roger Annis and wife Alice of Conroe, TX, Harrold Sherwin Annis and wife Diana of Apex, NC and Terry L. Annis and wife Patricia Martin Annis of Vale, NC, ten grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and four great-great- grandchildren.
