Beulah Viola Harrison Age 90 years, of Placentia, CA, formerly of Indianapolis, passed away Sunday, June 11, 2006. She was born January 1, 1916 in Indianapolis to Rolla H. and Maude Silcox Halstead, who have preceded her in death.
Beulah married William Melvin Harrison January 7, 1934, and he preceded her in death in January 29, 1963. She worked as a clerk for the Health & Hospital Corporation of Marion County for 13 years, retiring in 1978. Mrs. Harrison was a member of Irvington Order of the Eastern Star #364, Golden Link Court #7 Order of the Amaranth, Indianapolis Shrine #6 Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem, Daughters of America, Rebekah's Lodge, and Pocahontas Lodge.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 17 at 10:00 a.m. at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel, 9606 E. Washington St., with visitation Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Beulah is survived by her daughters, Edna Betzler, Rebecca McNabb, husband Victor; son, David Harrison, wife Diane; 14 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and many great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sons, Richard and Maurice Joseph Harrison. Memorial contributions may be made to the Indiana Masonic Home.
