Benjamin ("Ben") Henry Harrison (1860-1902) was born in rural Brunswick County, Virginia, upon the eve of the War Between the States. Ben Harrison was a mere babe-in-arms at the outbreak of hostilities between the Union and the Confederacy, and a young toddler during much of the American Civil War.

Benjamin Henry Harrison married Adelia V. Rideout circa 1881. Benjamin Harrison and Adelia (Rideout) Harrison had at least one child of this marriage: Beulah Epps Harrison (1886-1893). Unfortunately, beloved daughter Beulah Harrison died at age 7.

Benjamin Henry Harrison also died a relatively young man, at age 41 on 6 June 1902, about 3 months before his 42nd birthday. Benjamin H.
