Bonnie was born on February 24, 1923, on a farm in Grant County, near Bloomington, WI, to John and Nina Belle (Brodt) Harris. She attended Military Ridge Country School in Patch Grove Township through the eighth grade where she won a local spelling bee competition at the state level.

Bonnie was united in marriage to Clifford Raymond Cull in Dubuque, Iowa, on March 12, 1941. Nine children were born to this union. Bonnie and Clifford moved from the farm at Irish Ridge near Mount Hope, WI, to Prairie du Chien, WI, in 1968. Together they celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary in 1991. Clifford later passed away on June 5, 1997.

Bonnie enjoyed crocheting, playing euchre, gardening, making pickles, sour kraut and homemade bread. She had wonderful memories of reading stories to her children by the light of a kerosene lamp. She was a gifted seamstress taking old material and making new dresses, quilts, afghans, slippers and scarfs. Bonnie was a serious Green Bay Packers fan and loved her packer's blanket. She was known for her fondness towards cats and had taken in many stray cats over the years. Bonnie loved spending time with her wonderful family and will be greatly missed by the many family and friends who knew her.
