A joint memorial service will be held for Floyd and Sally Boyster on Saturday, May 15, 2010. A memory luncheon is at noon, service starts at 1:00pm at Destiny Christian Center. Followed by a full Military Honor at Claquato Cemetery.
Floyd Henry Boyster, 80, passed away on September 29, 2009 in Centralia, WA. Floyd was born in Richwoods, MO to Erasturs and Lovie Boyster on August 17, 1929. His younger brothers remember him returning home for visits in his uniform while proudly serving his country. Floyd was a proud member of the United States Air Force and Marines. He fought in the Korean War as well in the Vietnam War.
Sally Ella Mae Boyster, 73, peacefully went home to be with the Lord on May 6, 2010 after a long battle with brain cancer. She was living in Centralia, WA with her son Lewey Brown and his wife Kathy. Sally was born in the quaint town of Coeur d' Alene, ID on November 3, 1936 to Alice and George Harris. A fond childhood memory was riding horses to school with her brother Larry and sister Patty. In the 1970's she moved to Alaska to work on the Alaska Oil Pipeline. This is where she met Floyd. After 18 years they moved to Washington, Idaho and finally settling in beautiful Arizona for eight years.
Floyd and Sally enjoyed camping, fishing, playing cards, dancing, gardening, close friendships, being with her family and having a relationship with the Lord. They always enjoyed travels. Sally and Floyd enjoyed the sunshine and Arizona desert.
Sally was survived by her son John Brown, his wife Peg, their two children and three grandchildren, son Chuck Brown, his wife Laura and their three children, daughter Pam Logan, her two children and two grandchildren. Son Doug Brown. Son Lewey Brown, his wife Kathy and their two children. As well as countless special nieces, nephews and great friends.
Waiting in Heaven for Sally and Floyd are her brother Larry Harris, sister Patty Gray, and parents George and Alice Harris. His parents Erasturs and Lori Boyster and his son Henry Boyster.
Please join in remembering Sally and Floyd at Destiny Christian Center, 413 N. Tower Ave, Centralia, WA 98531 and Military Honors at Claquato Cemetery, 142 Stearns Rd. (3rd driveway) Chehalis, WA 98532. Sally loved surrounding herself with flowers and being in her garden, if you feel like sending a donation, Sally and Floyd's favorite charities were Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and Disabled American Vets (DAV).
