LARNED - M. Rae Barstow, 81, died March 8, 2008, at Cornerstone Ridge Plaza, Wichita.

She was born Nov. 2, 1926, in Haviland, the daughter of Elmer Pete and Minnie Finlay Harris. A lifetime area resident, she was a teller for First State Bank for 17 years.

She belonged to the First United Methodist Church and was active in the church circle, Food Pantry and the Church Budget Shop, all in Larned.

On April 9, 1947, she married Richard C. Barstow. He survives.

Other survivors include: two daughters, Beverly R. Baker and Janet L. Ary, both of Wichita; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church, Larned, with the Rev. Bill Fitzgerrel and Pastor Ken Walker presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Beckwith Mortuary Chapel, Larned. Burial will be in the Larned Cemetery.

Memorials may be sent to Harry Hynes Hospice or the First United Methodist Church, both in care of the mortuary.
