Ken moved to Ottawa in 1927 with his parents.
He graduated Ottawa High in 1934, and from Univ of KS in 1939 majoring in political science. He also received a degree to teach from Northern Colorado Univ in 1940. He taught school at Prospect High in Keenesburg Colorado in 1940 and 1941
Ken was employed at Lockheed Aircraft at Burbank, CA for five years. He returned to Ottawa in 1946 where he was a partner with his father, Earl in the Central Check Co.
After his father's death in 1958 the business incorporated and Fred Adamson became part owner in the business. He managed the business until his retirement in 1985.
Ken married Jane Maybell Feb 10, 1944 in Glendale CA they enjoyed nearly 70 years together.
Other survivors include three children Scott Harris, Janet Koch and Don, and Brian (Sam) Harris and Sheri, five grandchildren Holly, Clint, Kelly, Cori and Kimbra and six great grandchildren
He was a member of the United Methodist Church for 70 years, Kiwanis, Rotary Club, Chamber of Commerce all of Ottawa and treasurer of greater Los Angeles K.U. Alumni.
