Josephine H. Fillmore, 92, passed away Thursday, July 24, 2008, at a local hospital.
Service: 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home.
Josephine was born Jan. 21, 1916, in Valley Mills to Mary and D.T. Harris. Josephine graduated in 1937 from St. Joseph School of Nursing, then attended TCU and graduated from TWC with a bachelor's degree in science. She was a school nurse for the Fort Worth school district for 38 years. Josephine was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Fillmore Jr., and son, Paul Fillmore, III.
Survivors: Daughters, Barbara Jordan and Pamela Reynolds; nine grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and numerous other family members.
