Mrs. Billie [sic Lillie] Bell Bright, 73, the mother of a Bossier City resident, died Friday in Winnfield General Hospital.

The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. today in Southern Funeral Home Chapel in Winnfield with the Rev. Charles Haley and the Rev Kenneth Tarber [sic? Tarver] officiating. Burial will be in Winnfield City Cemetery.

Surviving are her husband, Charles Bright of Winnfield; four sons, Everett Bright of Little Rock, Ark., Charles Bright Jr. of Baton Rouge, Joseph L. Bright of Winnfield and George S. Bright; seven daughters, Mrs. John C. Hubbard of Bossier City, Mrs. Betty Mae Barton of Grand Isle, Mrs. William M. Strickland of Houma, Mrs. Gerald W. Drewitt [sic Jerrold W. Drewett] of Lake Charles, Mrs. Charles L. Jones of Midland, Tex., Mrs. Thomas R. Cobb of New Orleans and Mrs. Gordon D. Whatley of Sayette, Ala.; three sisters, Mrs. Melvie King of Grand Cane, Mrs. Ocie Kennedy of Buckner, Ark., and Mrs. Gracie Shelton of Winnfield; three brothers, Mark Harrison of Mobile, Ala., and George Harrison and Alvin Harrison, both of Stamps, Ark.; 41 [g]randchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
