Dan Harris, 87, of Bartlett, died April 1, 2005, in Memphis.
Services were 10 a.m. Monday at the Germantown Parkway Chapel of the Memphis Funeral Home. Burial was in Sunset Cemetery in Dresden.
Harris was the son of the late Pete and Mamie Brooks Harris. He was a retired railway postal clerk. He was a veteran of World War II, including the North Africa and Italy campaigns.
Survivors include his wife, Martha Eubanks Harris of Bartlett; a daughter, Jane DeMent of Bartlett; a son, Dan E. Harris of Birmingham, Ala.; and two grandchildren.
