Mrs. Erma Louise Wells Harris went to be with her Lord at Memorial Hospital in Danville, VA. She had been in declining health the last eight weeks and a patient in the Hospital for five days.

She was the daughter of the late Joseph Sidney Wells and Cora Aaron Wells. In December 1925 she married Robert Clarence Harris who survives.

She was a member of Sharon Methodist Church.

Besides her husband, she is survived by by two sons Raymond Harris of Ringgold, VA and Nathan Harris of Greensboro, NC, a daughter Lorene Harris Minton of Danville, a sister Vivian Wells Shields of the Roman Eagle Memorial Home in Danville, four grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Funeral services were conducted at the Barker Funeral Home Chapel in Danville with the Reverend Lawrence Gentry officiating.

Interment was in the Christian Tabernacle Church Cemetery.
