Maurine Argadine, 87, of Morton, formerly of Normal, died at 3:40 p.m. Monday, Oct. 5, 1998, at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria.
Born May 2, 1911, in Dana to William and Nellie (nee Beavers) Harrington, she married Edgar P. Argadine on May 5, 1934, in LaSalle. He died May 17, 1975.
She also was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Surviving are one son, Gerald of Morton; one daughter, Phyllis A. delCastillo of Austin, TX; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Metzler-Froelich Memorial Home in Bloomington, where visitation will be one hour before services. The Rev. Dr. Roger Mealiff will officiate. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery in Bloomington.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
