She was born October 5, 1939 in Cuthand, Texas to William and Lena Blisard. Connie grew up in Oakland, California and attended Fremont High School, graduating in 1957. She was a member of the class of 57 reunion planning committee, which kept her in touch with fellow students. Following high school, Connie attended the University of California Berkley. Connie was talented in may areas, as a gifted photographer, an excellent cook, a computer whiz and a lover of crossword puzzles. Connie spent 39 years working for the University of California Berkley. She retired in February 2000 from her position as Director of Cash Investment Operations for the Treasurers Office, Treasurer of Regents, The University of California Berkley. She will forever be remembered as an intelligent and fun loving woman whose nature encouraged and delighted all that knew her. She was loved by many and will truly be missed.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 48 years, Lester Harrington; her father, William Stafford Blisard; her sister, Sue Duckworth; her half-sister, Dorothy Mathews; her daughter, Lynn Harrington; her two grandsons, Scott and Jason Menger.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lena Blisard and her brother, Noel Blisard. Both are interned in the Cuthand Cemetery and will Connie.
A small family gathering will be held at the Cuthand Cemetery in Texas upon the internment of her ashes.'
