Leola Alford, age 79, wife of the late Jim Norton Alford, passed away July 28, 2012 at Regency Hospital surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Alford was born in Conway January 20, 1933 a daughter of the late Hughee Harrelson and the late Annie Cooper Harrelson.
Mrs. Alford was predeceased by two brothers, Lloyd Harrelson, Claude Harrelson, and one sister, Hazel Sellers.
She was a member of Aynor Church of God where she taught Sunday school.
Surviving Mrs. Alford are two sons, Dennis Alford and his wife Ann, Brian "Buddy" Alford and his wife Marie all of Aynor, two daughters, Peggy Sellers and her husband Mickey, Terri Brown and her husband Jerry all of Conway, one sister Pearl Rabon Stroud of Aynor, eight grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM Monday, July 30, 2012 at Johnson Funeral Home of Aynor. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at Aynor Church of God with the Rev. Jerry Love officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
