She as born April 4, 1920, in Watauga County to the late Jake and Virgie Byers Harrell. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie David Bryant; two sons, James Carroll Bryant, Sr. and David Larry Bryant, Sr.; four brothers; three sisters, and two grandsons, Bobby Darrell Bryant and Raymond David Bryant.
Mrs. Bryant was a homemaker and attended Bethany Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Raymond Wilson Bryant and Ralph Tony Bryant, both of Lenoir; a daughter, Mrs. Peggy Bryant Greene of Granite Falls; three sisters, Mrs. Catherine Harrell of Lenoir, Mrs. Mary Hamel of Valley Stream, N.Y. and Mrs. Betty Gregg of Kingsport, Tenn.; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Park.
