Mrs. Mary Ann Harnish of Alexandria, R.D. 1, died Monday morning, June 3,1974 In the J, C. Blair Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon. She had been in failing health for the past two years. She was born January 21, 1886 in Houtzdale to William
and Jennie (Heese) Rosevear. She married Lynn H. Harnish July 30, 1918 in Juniata, AItoona. Surviving are her husband,
a sister, Mrs. Paul (Minerva) Thornton of Gamp Hill and a brother, Evan R. Rosevear of Altoona. A number of nieces and
nephews also survive includingMrs. Newton C. (Nancy) Taylor of Huntingdon and Malvin C.Rosevear, Sr., of Petersburg.
Two sisters and four brothers preceded her in death. The deceased was an active member of the United Church of Christ in Alexandria and was a Sunday School teacher for many years. She attended the Women's Fellowship. She was a member of the Book Club and Garden Club of Alexandria. Inher early years she was a school teacher. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, at the United Church of Christ in Alexandria by the Rev. William C. Scott. It was a request of the family that there be no viewing or visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions maybe made to Homewood Homes in Martinsburg or the United Church of Christ in Alexandria. Arrangements are being handled by the Haverstock Memorial
Home in McConnellstown.
