Born September 24, 1928, she was the daughter of the late S. Frank and Elsie Harman. She was the wife of Norman E. Aldridge for 63 years.
She worked for many years as a secretary for various insurance agencies and for Carroll County Department of Social Services. She was a breast cancer survivor for 30 years and an avid collector of pink ribbon memorabilia.
Surviving in addition to her husband are daughter Cassandra Aldridge, a sister Elizabeth J. Clarke and husband Charles, of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; brother-in-law Robert Aldridge and wife Ruth, of Westminster; nieces Deborah Clarke, of Hanover, PA, Theresa Murphy and husband Charles, of Ansonia, CT, Cindy Richardson, of Westminster; nephews Thomas Clarke and wife Beth, of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, and Timothy Aldridge and wife Jeannie, of Westminster; a grandson Chad Seymour and wife Missie, of Westminster.
She was predeceased by a brother S. Frank Harman, Jr. and a sister Mary Samuelle.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Westminster Cemetery
