Thelma Benham passes away. - Young woman expires at home of brother in Richmond.
Thelma (Harlan) Benham, 21, died suddenly Sunday at 2 o'clock at the home of a brother at 115 ½ South Ninth street, Richmond. Death was due to a heart ailment.
Surviving are the husband, Thomas, Jr.; the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Harlan; one sister, Mrs. Abner Flatter, and one brother, Howard Harlan, all of Richmond, and a niece, Barbara, of Centerville.
She had been employed at the Dee beauty shop in Richmond and was a member of the Second Presbyterian church and Ben-Hur lodge at Richmond.
The body was removed to the Thomas funeral home at Lynn for burial preparations and will be taken to the home of a sister, Mrs. Flatter, at 715 North 10th street in Richmond about 5 o'clock Monday. Funeral arrangements will be announced later
(Funeral Services were held on Wednesday, Feb. 7th at 2:00 o'clock at the Second Presbyterian church in Richmond in charge of Rev. John E. Jones. Burial was made in the Earlham cemetery.).
