Daughter of James S. & Sylvia (Moore) Harker, wife of A. Judson Harding, m. Jun 26, 1917. Died in a motor vehicle accident on US 150 east of Kickapoo.

Mrs. Judson M. Harding

Funeral services for Mrs. Harding were held from the Union Church Sunday afternoon, conducted by the pastor, Loyal M. Pearce. Casket bearers were members of the Millbrook Grange John Vaughn, George Martziul, Clarence Biederback, and Sipp school board members Wesley Kratnz, Wm. Lowery and Oren Ingles. Burial was in the Brimfield cemetery.

Florence Moore Harker was born August 25, 1895, the daughter of James and Sylvia Moore Harker. Her mother died when she was seven and for a time she made her home with the J.L. Murdoch family.

Later she moved to Peoria where she attended high school. She decided to enter the teaching profession and attended State Normal school at Macomb, where she specialized in primary teaching. Coming back to this community, she taught int Henry School, Radley, Shane and Cameron, all in Peoria.

One June 26, 1917 she was united in marriage to Judson Harding and to this union three sons were born Jimmy, Richard and Ward. Jimmy died at an early age.

When she resumed teaching she worked in the Southport and Radley schools before going to Sipp school.23 years ago this fall. Here she has given devoted service and was highly respected and loved for her successful work with the little folks.

She was a member of the Union Church here, the Eastern Star at Elmwood, was Chaplain of Millbrook Grange and a member of the County Grange.

She leaves her husband two sons Richard and Ward and her beloved daughter, Marge (Mrs. Ward Harding) and many, many friends, relatives and neighbors who share with her family happy memories of her life well lived.

Her parents, two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Elliott and Mrs. Nancy Tacrer and a brother Ward Harker, preceded her in death.
